Glossary of Poker terms

One reason for putting these 'Glossary of Terms' pages together is that so many of the other poker sites are expressed in a bewildering language, and some translation is always helpful.

The experts, who contribute to the poker sites, have been playing the game for so long that they lose the ability to explain the strategies of the game in simple language. Perhaps they are all too busy winning money!

This information helps you to avoid being bamboozled with the jargon that you always find in poker - be it in books, live rooms, online games or on TV.

To reduce the tedium, the lists have been split into short alphabetical segments!
